Lift
is Molly Bancroft (vocals, guitar), Simone Simonton (drums), Julie
Clark (bass). With extremely varied backgrounds, their genuine
passion for the music is the same. Lift's commitment to themselves,
the music, and
their audience is born out of a desire to empower people to think,
find meaning, and take responsibility as individuals.

With two critically acclaimed albums (Lifelike,1997 Daemon
Records, and Stellar,1996 Lyric Moon Records) and a 7-inch
("Walk Away/Birds Fly Free," 1992 Tim Kerr Records)
to their credit as well as having toured nationally and shared
the stages with artists such as Guadalcanal Diary, Wild
Colonials and Marvelous 3 - Lift has established a
loyal and expanding following.
